ISLAMABAD – His Excellency Muhammad Mudasir Tipu, Ambassador of Pakistan to Iran, recently received a delegation from the Iranian Federation of Automobile Spare Parts Manufacturers and Distributors at the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran. It has been announced that a delegation of 22 union members will visit Pakistan to attend the Pakistan Auto Show 2023, which will be held in Karachi from October 27 to 29, 2023. This will be the first organized visit by representatives of Pakistan’s auto parts industry. From Iran to Pakistan. Union Chairman Saeed Ahmed Hosseini thanked the ambassador and said that this long-awaited visit would pave the way for closer business ties between the private sectors of the two brotherly countries. The Ambassador explained Pakistan’s favorable investment regime and encouraged the delegation to consider entering into joint ventures with Pakistani companies. He expressed the hope that the visit of the Iranian delegation would enhance Pakistan’s export of auto parts to Iran. importing cheaper substitutes from Iran, and technology transfer-oriented joint ventures between the two countries. Prime Minister Mudasir Tipu assured the full support of the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran to ensure the delegation’s maiden visit to Pakistan is successful and fruitful. The occasion was attended by Union Secretary-General Mr. Afshin Asgharzadeh, Dr. Reza Malachi, Mr. Hamidreza Haqbaz, Mr. Amir Reza Bakaryan, and Trade and Investment Advisor Dr. Amir Hussain.
