Kuwait City: Following the arrest of a doctor in Bahrain, an Indian nurse has also been arrested due to the Hindutva mentality that does not allow Indians to sit silently on the issues faced by Muslims around the world. He is being investigated for supporting Israeli brutality in Kuwait. The death of a Palestinian child, the bombing of Al-Ahly Arab Hospital in Gaza, and the display of the Zionist organization’s flag on social media accounts.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Kuwaiti lawyer Ali Habab Al Duwaiq has formally submitted a complaint to the public prosecutor’s office against an Indian nurse working at Mubarak Al Kabir Hospital. Her actions are considered to be in violation of Kuwaiti law and the emir’s decree declaring a state of war between Kuwait and Israel, the complaint said.
The incident comes days after Dr. Sunil Rao, a senior Indian doctor in Bahrain, was arrested and fired from the Royal Hospital for posting “anti-Palestinian” comments on social media.
Dr. Rao was arrested by Bahrain’s Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Directorate, Directorate General for Combating Cybercrime, on charges of violating civil peace and social stability that may affect public order and safety.
In his complaint against the Indian nurses in Kuwait, lawyer Al Duwaiq emphasized the strong stance of the Kuwaiti government and people in support of Palestine, especially in the wake of the tragic bombing of Al Ahly Hospital. He noted that the Minister of Health has called on nurses and doctors to protest against Zionist organizations. Kuwait’s Arab Times reported that Al-Duwaiq said, “Nevertheless, nurses at Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital boldly displayed the flag of the Zionist organization on their WhatsApp status, and thereby committed crimes against them.” I supported the action.”
The lawyer also detailed an official complaint to the public prosecutor’s office and called for legal action against the nurse. Al-Duwaiq stressed that her actions demonstrate support for Zionist organizations and disregard for Kuwait’s national security law, especially Article 7, which criminalizes such acts. In this case, she could be sentenced to life in prison or at least five years in prison, the newspaper reported.
Mr Al Duwaiq also called on Muslims in Kuwait and the wider Islamic world to fight Zionist entities and their supporters in accordance with national and international law. He suggested that even if direct confrontation across borders is not feasible, internal efforts could still have a significant impact on the Zionist group.
