Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Acting Director-General of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), praised the friendly and deep-rooted relations between the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain and the degree of harmony between the two countries. “Economic relations between the UAE and Bahrain continue to grow every year, reflecting the depth of the fraternal ties between our two countries,” Al Janahi said. Non-oil trade between the two countries reached AED 25.7 billion in 2022, compared to AED 23.7 billion in 2021, representing a growth rate of 8%. He also praised how the value of investments in both the UAE and Bahrain continues to increase year on year, especially considering the diverse available opportunities and continued development in all sectors. ”
“He emphasized that Ajman is keen to provide an attractive investment environment for Bahraini business owners and said that by the third quarter of this year, the membership of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry by Bahraini business owners will increase by 2022. It noted an increase of 8% compared to the same period in 2020. Furthermore, Ajman’s exports to Bahrain increased by 27% by the third quarter of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022.
Al Janahi congratulated the Kingdom of Bahrain, its leaders and people on the occasion of Bahrain’s National Day, and said that the UAE’s celebration of Bahrain’s National Day this year reflects the depth of the fraternal relations between the two leaders and peoples. He asserted that it has a special significance as it embodies this. .
