ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP): Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran Mohammad Mudassir Tipu on Tuesday, while explaining Pakistan’s favorable investment regime, urged Iran Automobile Spares Manufacturing and Sales Federation to undertake joint ventures with Pakistani companies. He urged them to consider concluding the project.
According to a press release, the ambassador received the coalition delegation at the Pakistan embassy in Tehran.
A 22-member delegation is visiting Pakistan to attend the Pakistan Auto Show 2023, which will be held in Karachi from October 27th to 29th. This will be the first ever organized visit by representatives of the auto parts industry from Iran to Pakistan.
Ambassador Tipu expressed his hope that the Iranian delegation’s visit would strengthen joint ventures aimed at exporting Pakistani auto parts to Iran, importing cheaper alternatives from Iran, and transferring technology between the two countries. He expressed his expectations.
He assured the delegation of the embassy’s full support to make their maiden visit to Pakistan successful and fruitful.
Union Chairman Saeed Ahmed Hosseini expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador and said that this long-awaited visit will pave the way for closer business ties between the private sectors of the two brotherly countries.
The occasion was attended by Union Secretary-General Mr. Afshin Asgharzadeh, Dr. Reza Malachi, Mr. Hamidreza Haqbaz, Mr. Amir Reza Bakaryan, and Trade and Investment Advisor Dr. Amir Hussain.
