American Honda presented its outlook for its U.S. automobile business in 2024 at a press conference with Mamadou Diallo, senior vice president of sales.
“In 2023, both brands will recover, with American Honda finishing the year with sales growth of more than 30%, allowing us to finally meet pent-up demand for our products. We forecast a strong recovery. , we achieved that,” Diallo said. “This year, we will continue to leverage our hybrid models and light trucks as we begin sales of our first high-volume BEV model.In addition to our continued investment in ICE products, We expect both annual sales to increase.”
Car sales in 2024
- American Honda’s car sales ended 2023 at 1.3 million units, an increase of 33% from the previous year, as production stabilized and logistics challenges eased.
- The company aims to sell up to 1.3 million units for the Honda brand and 150,000 units for the Acura brand by 2024. This means American Honda’s sales will increase by 10-15% compared to 2023.
