The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) commemorated Bahrain Women’s Day by honoring its female employees for their valuable contributions and tireless efforts to promote the company’s development.
The event included a variety of interactive workshops in the creative field to foster a sense of innovation and inspiration in participants. Additionally, a luncheon was held in their honor in the presence of ASRY executives. ASRY has over 50 women in its professional workforce in various fields, including management, technical and engineering positions.
Furthermore, women are also working in specialized fields such as professional diving, and the company has hired the first Bahraini woman to work in this industry sector in Bahrain. In particular, ASRY places emphasis on developing female engineers’ project manager qualifications.
Additionally, six women currently hold leadership positions at the company, most notably as deputy CEO. ASRY Managing Director Ms. Mazen Matar expressed gratitude and pride for the dedication of all the women at ASRY and praised their outstanding efforts and outstanding role in making the company successful. .
