Luke Littler continues his successful career after winning the Bahrain Darts Masters final.

How much did Luke Littler win?
In January 2024, 16-year-old Luke Littler won his first senior PDC Tour title by winning the final of the Bahrain Darts Masters.
The much-awaited event was held from January 18th to 19th.
The world youth champion banked £20,000 for an 8-5 victory, meaning he won his first professional title at his first attempt.
Who did Luke Littler beat?
Littler enjoyed a great night, starting with an incredible nine-darter and beating Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price and Van Gerwen on his way to glory.
Littler became the youngest player to throw nine darters in senior competition with a perfect opening leg 6-3 victory over friend Aspinall.
The previous record was held by Dutchman Van Gerwen at 17 years and 10 months.
Reacting to the breathtaking moment, PDC chairman Eddie Hearn wrote of X: Kid is a superstar! ”
Meanwhile, Sky Sports pundit Wayne Mardle said: “There will never be a greater player than Littler.
“This kid is incredibly talented. There’s no way he wouldn’t be excited!!!”
And he joked: “Darts are hard…I don’t know if Luke Littler would agree with me.”
Littler, who turns 17 on Sunday, defied his age by defeating MVG with an 8-5 win.
16-year-old Luke the Nuke asked after his win. You tell me. I don’t know. I’m happy to win.
“Early in the quarter, I hit nine darts against Nathan. I played well tonight.”
Furthermore, he added: “No one will probably believe it, but I haven’t thrown a dart since. Thursday was my first proper practice.
“Everything paid off. Michael is still one of the best players. He’s the best. I’m really happy to win on my debut.
“It was unbelievable. I didn’t set any specific goals. I never thought I would get this trophy.”
Will runners-up win prize money at Bahrain Darts Masters?
The first World Series tournament of the season saw a prize pool of £60,000 distributed.
In addition to Mr. Littler’s large prize, the contest’s runner-up also received a check.
Bahrain Darts Masters 2024 runner-up Michael van Gerwen will receive a check for half of Mr Littler’s amount, for £10,000.
Semi-finalists in the competition will also receive £5,000 in cash, quarter-finalists will receive £2,500 and first-rounders will receive £1,250.
