His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Civil Defense Council, visited the General Directorate of Civil Defense yesterday evening. The visit was an expression of appreciation for the important role played by the civil defense forces in protecting lives, protecting property and ensuring overall security of civilians and residents.

In the same context, the Minister of the Interior announced the launch of the Civil Defense Volunteer Project to foster community partnerships. This project aims to prepare volunteers and increase public safety and prevention awareness. Volunteers are selected based on specific requirements, divided into two categories: general volunteers and specialized volunteers, and trained to gradually integrate into the work.
