Niblas Mohamed Talib, CEO of the Labor Market Regulation Authority (LMRA), confirmed Bahrain’s commitment to support international efforts to combat human trafficking crimes.
Talib, who is also the chair of the National Commission to Combat Trafficking in Persons, made the statement during a meeting with Ilyas Chatzis, head of the Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Sector (HTMSS) of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). did. Chatzis said the crime of human trafficking is one of the most serious organized crimes that threatens the security and stability of society, and said that efforts were being made to raise awareness of this transnational crime and to tackle it in a more effective manner.
