Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Prime Minister and Crown Prince of Bahrain, becomes the first Bahraini leader to condemn the October 7 onslaught by Hamas. The man made the announcement during the Middle East Security and Defense Summit over the weekend.
During his keynote speech at the International Institute for Strategic Studies’ Manama Dialogue and Security Summit on Friday, the Bahraini leader called attacks by Hamas “obvious” after attacks by thousands of terrorists in Israel through the Gaza Strip. “to,” he said. More than 1,200 people were massacred, the majority of them civilians.
Bahrain’s prime minister called the current situation in Gaza “unbearable.” “In both Islam and Judaism, protecting innocent lives is an obligation and a moral responsibility,” he said in his statement.
The man was addressing participants in the Manama Dialogue. Security and diplomatic officials from the United States, Europe and the Middle East also attended. Bahrain’s prime minister said he was “on the side of civilians and innocent people, not on the side of political posturing.” The attack on October 7th was brutal and horrific. They were promiscuous. They killed women, children, and old people, but it didn’t matter. ”
He also said the attackers attacked military targets and civilian institutions. He also criticized the practice of taking hostages as a regular occurrence.
The Hamas-run Ministry of Health has announced that more than 12,000 people have actually been killed in Gaza since October 7. What is surprising and worrying is that the majority of these people are civilians.
