Bapco Energies has signed a memorandum of understanding with government hospitals in Bahrain, led by Salmaniyah Medical Complex (SMC), to support local residents in accessing important health check-ups, especially regarding breast cancer and colorectal issues. .
Under the terms of the MoU, Bapco Energies has committed to sponsor 140 screening mammograms and 70 colonoscopies for patients at the Salmaniya Medical Complex.
This initiative highlights Bapco Energy’s commitment to community engagement and advancing health initiatives.
The tests will be carried out at Awari Hospital, a state-of-the-art subsidiary of Bapco Energy, guaranteeing expert medical support and the highest standards of treatment.
The memorandum was signed by Mr. Mark Thomas, Group Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Energies, in the presence of Dr. Tarek Hameed, Chief Medical Officer of Awari Hospital, and a number of government officials. It was signed by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Al Ansari, Managing Director. Bapco Energies and Hospitals.
