Bahrain-based Batelco has announced the launch of a new service called Bwave, a 400 Gbps wavelength service on the Batelco Gulf Network (BGN) to meet the needs of rapidly increasing data demand. Batelco uses Ciena to enhance its solution capabilities and deliver higher capacity to customers including wholesale providers, hyperscalers, enterprises, data center operators, and content providers.
