A “bone-broken” rubbish house that went viral in a bizarre pirate video made by an agent is the hottest home to go up for auction in Queensland this week.
Realestate.com.au has named a three-bedroom home at 16 Forest Glen Crescent in Browns Plains as the most viewed home demolished this week.

Eight bidders have already pre-registered to bid online for the home, which will be inspected starting at 4 p.m. Wednesday, and Ray White Marsden AKG agent Cory Boyd said Saturday at 2 p.m. We expect that number to double by the time bidding begins.
Boyd, who works in real estate marketing with colleague Kerron Petzer, persuaded the owner of an abandoned home to let him dress as a pirate in a video of the property.
“I wanted to get as much attention as possible, so I said I needed to generate a video to get people talking.”
He’s already gotten more than he expected. I don’t know if I can become a specialist in that field. ”
The pair currently hold the national record for the most bidders registered at an auction, with 161 buyers registering to bid on another dilapidated Brisbane home this month.
Boyd expects many people interested in the record-breaking property to also take a look at the Browns Plains home.
“It’s hard to predict because eight companies have pre-registered to bid online, but we’ll probably have roughly 15 to 25 bidders, maybe more,” he said.
“It’s a little hard to predict. We were expecting 60 to 80 at Billabong Drive at the end, but we got 161. The majority (of bidders) will probably come out on the day.”

He said most of the people interested in the property so far are renovators or investors.
“We have a lot of people who want to live together, a lot of mom and dad remodelers, a lot of people who want to rebuild their homes, and a lot of people who want to buy and hold land. There are people out there, but probably the most popular are people who think, “To do dual occupancy.” ”
Boyd said he won’t be wearing a Pirate costume for this Saturday’s auction, but he plans to wear a suit on game day.
