1. IOC President Bach celebrates 40th anniversary of Xinhua Sports
International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach congratulated Xinhua Sports News Agency on its 40th anniversary in a video, saying that Xinhua News Agency has become the global media leader in Olympic news.
During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Xinhua News Agency was authorized by the IOC to be the host news agency and NOPP. Then, on January 30, 2019, Mr. Bach visited the headquarters of Xinhua News Agency and announced that Xinhua News Agency had become an IOC-recognized international news agency.

2. China announces Gangwon-do 2024 delegation
On January 5, China announced the 98-member squad that will compete in all seven sports for the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympics (YOG).
The 2024 Gangwon-do Games will be the first comprehensive winter sports competition that China will participate in after the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. 3. China wins all WTT men’s finals
