During the visit, General Munir was accompanied by King Hamad, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Bahrain Defense Forces Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Commander of the Bahrain National Guard Sheikh Mohammad bin Isa Al.・Visited Khalifa.
“During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, including military and security cooperation between the two countries,” the statement said.
According to ISPR, the senior officials praised Pakistan’s military’s achievements in the fight against terrorism and its continued efforts towards peace and stability in the region.
He added that the COAS was also the guest of honor at the 27th Bahrain National Guard Ceremony, where he was warmly welcomed and given the title of Guard of Honor. General Munir also witnessed demonstrations related to anti-terrorism training exercises.
“The Bahrain National Guard Commander expressed his gratitude to the Pakistan Army for providing highly professional training in military and counter-terrorism fields to the Bahrain National Guard,” the military media wing said.
