The Eagles (10-4) will host the Giants (5-9) on Christmas Day at Lincoln Financial Field.
Let’s take a look at the predictions.
Ruben Frank (11-3)
I seriously considered picking the Giants because it’s hard to imagine the Eagles beating anyone at this point, given how things have gone over the past few weeks. But come on. The Giants are really bad.they are 31 years oldcent Yards per game, 31cent Last in points per game, last in passing offense, last in sacks allowed, 31cent first down, 31cent in 3rd-30th in red zone on down conversions.24 years old in defenseth Allowable yards, 29th In rushing yards allowed, 30th Bagged, 24th 25 for first downs allowedth With the number of points allowed. As bad as the Eagles have played the last three weeks, the Giants have played just as badly all year. To me, this game is not about the Giants. The Eagles are good everywhere. It’s about the Eagles. How will they react to three consecutive losses? How will they react to losing 10 points in Seattle? How will they react to Jalen Hurts’ recent struggles? How will they react to the recent coaching staff turmoil? If the Eagles just go out there and play smart, error-free football, this team will get blown away. But it’s been a long time since they’ve done that. do they have it? If they are given this, they will be in big trouble.

The Eagles are a little shaken up, but this is part of the schedule they should dominate. The regular season ends with two games against the Giants and one against the Cardinals. Sure, Tommy DeVito has done some great things, but the Eagles’ defensive liens should be able to go after him in this game. The Giants’ offensive line has been inconsistent all season, and the Eagles’ defensive line should be able to get after him in this game. The pass rush hasn’t been as dominant as expected for most of the season, but this could be the right matchup for that group.
When the Eagles are on offense, they should be able to play against the Giants even without Landon Dickerson at left guard. The Eagles should really rely on their run game against the Giants, but they should also be able to air it. AJ Brown is always a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses, and DeVonta Smith will play through a knee injury. The Eagles can’t take any team lightly, but this should be a win.

Mike Mulhern (11-3)
The past three weeks have been quite the Nightmare Before Christmas, but Monday is your chance to change that. The Eagles can silence all the noise they’ve made, much of it self-inflicted, just by winning the game. The Giants are the perfect opponent at the perfect time. Down to third-stringer Tommy DeVito, GMen has been putting on shows lately, but the Eagles’ dominance over GMen predates him by a decade. They have won 10 straight against the Giants at the rink and have won 15 of 18 overall (including three last season).
Jalen Hurts tried to get his message across after the loss to the Seahawks, but his play on the field is where he has to get it the most. The coaching staff could potentially solve the problem by focusing less on explosive plays. Wink Martindale’s electrifying defense should give them ample opportunity to take shots from time to time without forcing them all the time. Coupled with the Giants’ potential absence of Dexter Lawrence up front, this could be the right game the Eagles needed.
