Technology is probably very advanced and there have been many amazing innovations over the years. After more than a decade of rumors, the first-of-its-kind flying car will finally go on sale to a limited number of buyers in 2024.
The aircraft, called Liberty (Pioneer Edition), is built by Dutch manufacturing company Pal-V and is the first of its kind.
The air mobility company will start delivering the car to just 90 people in Europe and North America, who will pay $527,000 (499,000 euros) for it.
This Pioneer Edition is an upgrade to the company’s Standard Edition and includes full options for flying or driving. According to the manufacturer, the car uses hybrid fuel based on e-fuel.They also claim it is a two-seater
Convertable in minutes, the Flydrive aircraft is designed for medium- to long-range travel, with a range of 817 miles (1,315 km) on the road and up to 310 miles (500 km) in the air. He only needs to stop once for fuel, and the range can easily be doubled. It can reach speeds of 100 mph (160 kph) and fly safely at 11,000 feet (3,350 meters).
The vehicle is safe to operate and many people claim it is accessible. It is also not limited to private use, but can be used for a variety of purposes including law enforcement, defense, and first response.
Pal-V has also successfully obtained approval for road use and is expected to receive approval for flight early next year, after which deliveries to buyers will begin.
The first flying car of its kind has been installed in Munich, Germany, and is open to interested parties until the end of this month.
