Hid defeated Al Hara 2-0 last night in the 2023/2024 Nasser Bin Hamad Bahrain Premier Football League Week 4 match. Talal Al Sherouki and Jacques Medina Iemopele scored on either side of half-time to give Hid their first win after losing three straight to start the new season.
Al Sherouki scored Hid’s goal from the penalty spot in the 25th minute, which was enough for his team to maintain the lead at the end of the first half. After the restart, Iemopele doubled their advantage in the 57th minute with a sensational rocket from 30 yards out.
Iemopele’s long-range shot flew into the top left corner of the goal, leaving no chance for opposing Hala goalkeeper Godwill Chia Ndang. As a result, Hid gained their first point of the season, while Hara suffered its second loss and now has two wins. They have six points in the top half of the table. Manama and Citra played in a scoreless stalemate last night as well.
This was Manama’s first draw of the season and they moved up to four points in the table, while Citra’s second draw resulted in them taking two points. Two more league games will continue tonight as scheduled. Al Ahly will face Muharraq, while defending champions Al Qaldiyya will face Busayteen. Both games are scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.
