The 15th annual conference of the ICAI Bahrain Chapter is themed “ABOVE & BEYOND” and brings together CPAs from around the world to tackle a variety of topics from leadership to digitalization of governance.
The 15th annual conference organized by the Bahrain Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) concludes today in the vibrant Kingdom of Bahrain, bringing together a diverse and dynamic gathering of financial professionals from within and outside the Kingdom.
The event was held on December 1st and 2nd, 2023 at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residences & Spa.
Themed “ABOVE & BEYOND,” the conference delved into a wide range of topics including leadership, sustainability, geopolitics, human potential, and healthy living.
Keynote speech by Indian Minister Shri. CA Piyush Goyal set the tone for the event by highlighting the importance of pushing the boundaries in the ever-evolving financial landscape. There will be eminent speakers including Padma Bhushan awardee Shri. Mr. Nambi Narayanan as retired Air Marshal Shri. PV Iyer shared valuable insights on topics such as ‘Living under intense public scrutiny’ and ‘Professional Health – Age is no excuse’. Our diverse lineup also includes leaders from a variety of industries, providing a comprehensive perspective on the challenges and opportunities in the financial world.
Sessions covering cutting-edge themes such as ‘Digitizing Contract Governance and Lifecycle Management’, ‘Building a Digital Mindset’ and ‘Transforming Business through Effective Process Optimization’ are increasingly digital and dynamic. This resonated with the participants who wanted to move forward in the current situation.
Prominent personalities such as His Excellency Shri Vinod K. Jacob, Ambassador of the Kingdom of India to Bahrain, and Managing Partner Mr. Grant Thornton Abdulal, Mr. Jasim Abdull added prestige to the event.
