This came about when Al-Qaid met with Dr. Fahad Al-Dosari, Director General of the Saudi Arabian General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT), on the sidelines of the SDMX World Congress.
The iGA Secretary General thanked Dr. Aldosari for his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the conference, during which he mentioned the mechanisms adopted in official statistics and the importance of the exchange of statistical and descriptive data. He added that he did.
Both sides discussed joint coordination, highlighting achievements in the field of statistics, particularly in the conduct of national surveys and research.
