Top seed Sampreet Sharma (India) has advanced to the second round of the men’s singles tournament of the 3rd Bahrain ITF Junior 2023 Tournament, which is being held at the Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) hard courts in Isa Town.
This tournament is a J30 event that is part of the ITF World Tennis Tour Junior, and the world’s top tennis talents between the ages of 13 and 18 will participate.
Samprit defeated Zane Ionescu (Canada) 6-0, 6-0, winning from the early stages.
He will next face the winner of the other first round between Akmal Abdullaev (Uzbekistan) and Matej Suk (Romania).
Yesterday’s second round men’s match included fourth seed Issa Ali (Great Britain), fifth seed Radu Cojocaru (Australia), Emre Atramis and Doruk Kalikoglu (Turkey), Amjad Bukhari (Saudi Arabia) and Nikita. – Gribyakin (Estonia) also advanced.
