That same year, Stone bought a $2.477 million traditional-style home in Beverly Hills and put down roots on the West Coast. This charming one-story pad had quite the celebrity pedigree. Previously owned by British actor and gourmet Dudley Moore, Stone purchased it from Australian film editor Kirk Baxter. The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom home spanned her 3,862 square feet and was perhaps most memorable for its unique, colorful wallpaper. For example, the front foyer was decorated with red and white geometric patterns, and the formal dining space was outfitted with lime green patterned walls. The combined living and dining area had double-height ceilings, a whimsical, brightly colored chandelier, and an asymmetrical white brick fireplace. Stone ultimately listed the property in 2019 for $3.899 million and sold it just a month later for exactly her asking price.

Ms. Stone’s next purchase was a modest one-bedroom condo in a West Village building designed by Emery Roth, for which she paid $2.4 million. The actor appears to have used the pad primarily as a pied-à-terre, and just two years later she listed it for $2.65 million. When she couldn’t find a buyer, she took the unit off the market, but relisted it in 2019 at a reduced price of $2.495 million. She even tried to rent it out for $6,000 a month during the pandemic.of poor thing Starr put it up for sale again in August 2021, ultimately selling it for $2.25 million at a small loss toward the end of the year.

Mr. Stone has snapped up a $3.6 million condo reportedly located above a historic boutique hotel in New York City’s financial district. Not many other details about the property are known, but it appears the actor still owns it.
That same year, she spent $3.25 million on a mid-century cliffside mansion in Malibu, which her real estate agent said resembled “a Malibu beach house that would be featured in a Nancy Meyers movie.” He said he was there. Boasting unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, the property was 1,700 square feet and had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Aesthetically, it was a bright and airy space with white walls, high ceilings, and large windows. The eat-in kitchen (key to the house, Nancy Meyers-esque) sparkled with white and gold decor. The main suite was located in a corner of the ranch-style house and had glass sliders on two of its four walls. She put her dream home on the market in 2022 for $4.3 million after her Stone’s life took her in a different direction. She sold it just a week later for $4.425 million.
