More than 260 festival-goers lost their lives in the attack, many of whom were taken hostage by militants who paraglided into the festival, according to videos circulating on social media.
The festival, held in Reims, a rural area in southern Israel near the Gaza Strip border, coincided with the week-long Jewish holiday of Sukkot, from September 29 to October 6, 2023.
