The sanitation network project in Block 424 in Bahrain’s Jidaf district has been successfully completed.
This was confirmed by Engineer Fatih Abdullah Al-Faleah, Assistant Undersecretary for Health at the Ministry of Works.
The project is part of the ministry’s efforts to strengthen infrastructure development and aims to expand sanitation services to cover 126 facilities.
This project included the installation of a pumping station to treat wastewater from the housing complex, as well as the construction of a 1.6km main sewer pipe and a 1.3km secondary sewer pipe.
In addition, 163 laboratories were constructed and necessary road paving work completed within the project boundaries.
The initiative is part of the ministry’s broader plan to respond to the Kingdom’s urban expansion by connecting various assets, including homes and buildings, to the sewage network.
This initiative contributes to creating a healthy, safe, and secure environment for residents.
The Ministry of Industry would like to express its gratitude to the local residents for their cooperation during the project implementation period.
The project was awarded to Afaq Al Khaleej Excavation and Equipment Rental Company by a bidding and auction committee, with a total cost of BD562,000.
