The Ravens have Best point difference They’ve ranked higher than any team in soccer through the first nine weeks of the season and lead the AFC North with a 7-2 record, but they haven’t escaped the division.
Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh are all within striking distance heading into Week 10 at 5-3. “That’s it,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh quipped in Monday’s press conference, as all four teams in the AFC are currently in playoff contention. If everyone in our division isn’t a good team, it’s going to be really bad. ”
Harbaugh went on to say that the Ravens are well aware of the potential dangers of playing in such a powerful division.
“it is my best answer” Harbaugh said. “We respect these teams. This is a great division. There’s no question it’s the best division and it’s proven. We know these teams. ‘s team is the real deal. We understand that when you’re in this division you have to play two games a year and it’s not just this year, so we understand that too. They We all understand that and we all know what happens when we all play each other.”
The Ravens are 2-1 in divisional games this year and will host the Browns and Bengals in their next two games after defeating both teams on the road earlier this year. Beating an Ohio State team won’t finish the division, but it will make it pretty hard to see another team take the crown.
