On March 1, 2024, Jörg Vocke will become CEO of Siemens Real Estate (SRE), the real estate division of Siemens. In this capacity, he will report directly to Ralph P. Thomas, Chief Financial Officer of Siemens AG and a member of the Board of Directors. As the corporate real estate regulator, SRE manages Siemens’ global real estate holdings and consistently drives the sustainable, socially responsible and value-driven expansion of this portfolio. Additionally, SRE is critical to Siemens’ €2 billion global investment strategy to strengthen its production facilities for the future.
SRE is a corporate real estate company that supports Siemens’ strategies and objectives worldwide. These responsibilities include helping the company achieve its carbon neutrality goals, currently in Erlangen, Germany, Singapore, China and the United States.SRE thus makes an important contribution to Siemens’ future success. These are tough challenges and I’m really looking forward to them.
Jörg Wocke
Jörg Wocke, who has a degree in law, will replace Solt Sleuthner (65). Mr. Sluitner served in various management positions at Siemens, where he became leader of the SRE business in 2006 and is now retired.
I am very happy to hand over the leadership of the SRE business to Jörg Vocke. His 20 years of experience at Siemens makes him familiar with all aspects of the company. Moreover, as a proven digitalization specialist, he also has the necessary digital expertise, which is becoming increasingly important for our industry. And finally, I highly value his leadership qualities. I came to know and understand that during our time together at SRE.
