Karnataka Social Club Bahrain facility reopens to members
Bahrain: Saturday, November 18, 2023, marked Karnataka Social Club Bahrain’s history as it re-opened its August facility to members and well-wishers with a bright, new and colorfully renovated stage and interior. Through the hard work and determination of a few dedicated and dedicated members, and the generosity of many well-wishers who came together to sponsor and provide assistance, the members of the interim KSC Executive Committee have brought life to the site. On the evening of November 18, 2023, a short but magical and meaningful opening ceremony was held, beginning with the offering of the Holy Mass at 6:30 pm in the Hall of Our Lady of Arabia on the grounds of the Bahrain Sacred Heart Church, where members gathered for a prayer of thanksgiving. In the well-lit venue, Entertainment Secretary Rajesh Prabhu welcomed the gathering and the program started at 8:15 pm. The stage program began with a prayer hymn performed by several Ladies Wing members, followed by a blessing of the entire grounds, including the terrace and ground floor precincts, which had been prepared for the occasion. Then it was time to unfurl the dazzling KSC flag on the newly decorated stage by the guest of honor, Father Darrell Fernandez. This was followed by the presidential address, in which Mr. Sunil D’Souza welcomed the packed audience to the hall and expressed his gratitude to all those who worked to make the reopening day a reality. Father Darrell Fernandez then offered few words of wisdom laced with a sharp sense of humor, while Maxime Sequeira, a senior member of the club, gave a brief history and overview of the club in words.
