Luke Littler may have predicted his incredible nine-dart leg at the Bahrain Masters just five days before the tournament.
Littler, 16, made his name known to the world after a dream run that saw him reach the finals of the PDC World Darts Championship last month.
Littler was once again in the news at this week’s Bahrain Masters.
After breezed past Hong Kong man Lok Leung, Littler sent out Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price to set up a showdown with Michael van Gerwen.
Now, Littler may have predicted this nine-darter while visiting Old Trafford to watch his favorite football team, Manchester United, draw 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur. It has even been reported.
According to The Sun, Littler was asked if he wanted to score a hat trick or hit a nine-ditter.
Littler answered, “Nine darters,” and accomplished the amazing feat just five days later.
Also, when asked which of his darts mates would be suitable to join the football team, Littler replied: “Dirk van Duijvenbode, he’s very tall so I’d put him at the back.” .
Littler said of the perfect opening leg:It’s good to be featured on TV, and at first [nine-darter] This year’s top award goes to me.
“I just hope the list continues and hopefully I can hit a few more. I’m just taking it game by game. [looking at the rest of the tournament]. If I win, I win. If we lose the next game, so be it. ”
He added, “But I’m not thinking about losing. I’m only thinking about winning.”
