Mobility solutions provider Jupiter Wagons on Friday said it has won a “significant” contract from a leading automaker to manufacture four double-decker car carriers worth around Rs 100 crore.
These car carrier wagons can carry SUVs on the bottom and top decks and are equipped with many advanced technologies such as articulated dolly and reduced idling time by replacing sick wagons, the company said in a statement. Ta.

Such wagons will be introduced for the first time in Indian Railways considering their maximum travel dimensions and will not only fit in the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) but also in most of the available national railway networks, it added.
