As part of the ongoing National Road Safety Month, MVD Jammu today organized a brainstorming workshop for mechanics and other staff at Shree Toyota here. The camp was organized under the supervision of RTO Jammu Pankaj Bhagotra and in collaboration with Shree Toyota Jammu Ltd. under the directions of Transport Secretary J&K Rajinder Singh Tara. The event was attended by owners of Shree Toyota, Devinder Batra, Bisham Batra, as well as 200 mechanics and staff. On this occasion, road safety tips were imparted to the participants by MVI Vikas Srivats besides administering the road speech pledge.
Rehana Tabassum, head of ARTO, said that such platforms are important in raising participants’ awareness and understanding of road safety, with a comprehensive goal of reducing road accidents and ensuring safe travel for all road users. He said that he would contribute to the goals. On this occasion, Vehicle Inspector Vikas Srivattu provided safety tips on vehicle maintenance and highlighted the role of vehicle maintenance in preventing breakdowns and accidents.
“The event also included interactive sessions where participants had the opportunity to address specific road safety coagulation issues,” said Davinder Batra, Managing Director, Batra Group . The collaboration between RTO Jammu and Shree Toyota Jammu demonstrated the importance of public-private partnership in promoting road safety. The event ended with a collective pledge to uphold the principles of road safety and encourage others to do the same.
