The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s newly expanded Sports and Exercise Medicine Clinic can now serve patients of all activity levels. This multidisciplinary clinic provides a full range of sports and exercise medicine services, including non-surgical and surgical sports medicine, with support from the Departments of Family and Community Medicine, Orthopedics, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The clinic will also offer multiple specialties, including nutrition, orthobiologics, cardiac sports medicine, exercise during pregnancy, and physical therapy and rehabilitation.
