Receiving Stolen Items: Cove Avenue
At 8:30 a.m. on November 23, the Lakewood Police Department received an alert from a Flock automatic license plate reader camera of a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Cleveland and was entering the city. The car entered the city from West 117th Street at Detroit Avenue. When officers responded, the vehicle entered the cove and two suspects were able to escape from the vehicle. Police arrested two juvenile male suspects on suspicion of receiving stolen property.
Theft: Edgewater Drive
At 4:02 p.m. on November 20th, a resident of the apartment reported that a package had been stolen.
Criminal Activity: Delaware Avenue.
At 1:48 p.m. on Nov. 19, a caller reported noticing a slashed tire on his car.
Disorderly Conduct: Richland Avenue.
Officers responded to a report of an argument between a man and an intoxicated woman at 11:48 p.m. on Nov. 22. Officers charged the woman with disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
Theft: Detroit Avenue
Police received a call around 8:15 a.m. on Nov. 22 about a man who stole a mop, bucket and eight bottles of dish soap from a Walgreens residence at Detroit and West 117th Street. The suspect got into a car parked in a nearby alley. Police arrested a male suspect on W. 117th Street on misdemeanor charges of theft and drug paraphernalia.
