Sarah Malchow, Cedar Community’s vice president of development, said the space will allow the campus to continue its mission of serving an aging community while also reconfiguring underutilized spaces to make them functional. He said it has enough agility to improve its performance.
“Using our core principles and priorities around everything from stewardship, capital resources, human resources, and environmental resources, we are defining how we repurpose the space we own and make use of unused space. “I thought about it,” Marchau said.
At one time, the skilled nursing facility had nearly 500 beds, but over the past decade the facility has been right-sized to meet demand and now stands at just under 80 beds, allowing Cedar communities to live more independently. We respond to market demands. .

“The little nook in the back has a beautiful view of the forest and has a very idyllic feel. This allows everyone at the Lake Campus to live and have access to all the amenities, but still be independent. Masu.
“We’ve seen the demand,” Markow said. “We found that the demand was for downsizing, but not in excess. So with that in mind, if we know we can offer Lake Campus style living with more space and people, it’s a beautiful lifestyle and Living in an apartment will allow you to be completely independent.”
