MK Architecture receives order for Seedlings Academy kindergarten site
MK Architecture has been awarded the architectural services contract by KILKAM, LLC for Seedlings Academy’s new 7,000 square foot preschool at its new location on Burnt Store Road. The project includes a full-service preschool for up to 100 students from infant to preschool, with a low student-teacher ratio in an organic, environmentally friendly environment.
The preschool will also include a kitchen for the school’s healthy eating program, activity spaces, administrative offices, and a tiered play area experience.
The new building will be the third local location for Seedling Academy. Construction is scheduled for he 2024.

Stevens Construction begins construction on Sam Galloway Ford Service Repair Center
Stevens Construction has begun construction on a 26,164-square-foot expansion of the Sam Galloway Ford at 1800 Boy Scout Drive in Fort Myers, announced Daniel Adams, executive vice president of Stevens Construction.
Stevens Construction will expand the existing service repair center and add 18 service bays, a parts room, seven service writer stations, a reception area, and a waiting area. Stevens Construction is also renovating the existing employee lounge, service manager office and restrooms.
Scheduled for completion in fall 2024, the project will take place while Sam Galloway continues to operate the business.
The construction team includes project manager Mike Brooks, foreman Rich McDonald, and project manager Angie Sugg. This project was designed by Studio AD Architect.
