Riyadh — Saudi Arabia’s Hajj and Umrah Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiya has begun an official visit to Bahrain to discuss facilities provided to pilgrims.
Dr. Al-Rabiya will be accompanied by a high-level delegation consisting of ministry officials, partners of the Hajj and Umrah system, and representatives of private organizations serving the Guests of God.
The visit is aimed at discussing ways of cooperation between the two countries in facilitating the arrival procedures for Umrah pilgrims from Bahrain.
It also aims to enrich the religious and cultural experience of pilgrims, highlight the benefits of the Visit Visa Program for Bahrain residents, and showcase the capabilities of the Nusku Digital Platform and its multiple services.
The minister will hold several meetings with Bahraini officials and Hajj and Umrah service providers to discuss mechanisms to educate pilgrims about the facilities provided to guests coming from Bahrain to Makkah and Madinah.
Bahrain will be the new hub of the Minister’s international communications tour, which aims to highlight the qualitative changes observed in pilgrimage procedures and prayers.
The tour highlights future plans to host pilgrims and visitors in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals.
