Cartersville, Georgia – Fans will flock to Atlanta’s State Farm Arena this weekend to see Bigfoot, the original monster truck, during the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow Party. But for those curious about how BIGFOOT became the icon it is today, Cartersville’s Savoy Automotive Museum is a great place to spend an afternoon.
The Savoy Automotive Museum presents “The Evolution of Bigfoot,” which traces the monster truck’s path from a modified 1974 Ford F-250 pickup to a pioneering entertainment machine with four very large wheels. We are welcoming 2024 with several exciting exhibitions at the gallery, including; The exhibit, which will be on display until February 4th, includes BIGFOOT #1, BIGFOOT #8, BIGFOOT #20 (it’s electric!), and a 1987 Ford BIGFOOT Cruiser F-250 4×4 in BIGFOOT Blue Includes 1 vehicle.
Meanwhile, museum visitors can learn more about the refined elegance of 1930s European cars in “Rolling Sculptures: European Art Deco.” This exhibit highlights how the Art Deco design movement intertwined with the automotive industry, giving rise to the best of the best. An amazing example of historical automotive design. Vehicles featured as part of the exhibit include a 1934 Bugatti Type 57 Atalante Coupe, a 1937 BMW 328 Roadster, and a 1938 Mercedes-Benz 540K Sports Cabriolet. “Rolling Sculpture: European Art Deco” will be on display until March 31st.
