Siin, a B2C marketplace that aims to revolutionize e-commerce for buyers and sellers through live video, has emerged as the eighth winner of the highly anticipated StartUp Bahrain Pitch series.
The event was held in collaboration with key industry stakeholders including the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Labor Fund (Tamkeen), Bahrain Economic Development Board and Bahrain Development Bank (BDB).
The event was also held as a special edition of the series in partnership with the Supreme Council of Women and was held at Riyadat Mall. The event featured a keynote speech by Amal Dokhan, general partner at 500 Global, who shared his personal experiences about the challenges he faced as an entrepreneur, the risks and opportunities of growing in the field.
At this event, five Bahraini startups will share their innovative business ideas with Fajer Alpacachi, general manager of Hope Ventures, Vijay Tirasurai, managing director of Riyadh Techstars, and founder Eman. – Focused on presenting to a distinguished panel of judges featuring local and regional experts, including Mr. Shakur. Ms. Dokan, CEO of Blossom Accelerator.
Before qualifying to participate in the event, the five startups underwent an intensive fundraising and pitching bootcamp conducted by industry experts titled “Raise: Art of Fundraise.”
Participating startups include Arsedh, a smart, contactless, digital alternative platform to paper receipts that empowers business owners and shoppers by transferring digital receipts directly from POS systems to smartphones; will be able to obtain proof of sale. Imprint Production (Ba9ma) is a local Bahraini production company focused on Bahraini filmmaking and art. Sellou is a social media app with a unique focus on location, connecting consumers with places, products, and people. IBuildNow, an online local multi-vendor marketplace aimed at fully digitizing the construction industry, and Siin.
Following a very attractive line-up of pitches, a panel of judges thoroughly evaluated each startup’s potential and ideas. In the end, Siin, founded by Hesham Al Saati, was announced as number one.
“StartUp Bahrain Pitch was a pivotal stage that put our startup in the spotlight. We couldn’t be more grateful to all the stakeholders who poured in their resources and tools to provide us with such support. We cannot do that,” Al Saati said.

Siin has established the Gulf Coast’s premier live shopping marketplace, combining the excitement of live video with the ease of online shopping. Its mission is to make live shopping easy, safe and fun, and it plans to launch in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia next January.
