The incredible progress in Miami’s real estate market continued throughout 2023, contrary to national trends. While other markets struggled, Miami thrived on its status as a truly global city characterized by culture, diversity, and glamor. As Chairman of the Board of Miami His Realtors, I have witnessed this remarkable journey firsthand and am excited to share its accomplishments. Miami Realtors represents over 60,000 members in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
A year of positive thinking and empowerment
Our year was structured around the theme of “Positive Thinking.” We recognized that in the dynamic real estate landscape, innovation is not an option, but a necessity. Challenges have emerged, highlighting the need to redefine the value of real estate agents, provide cutting-edge education, and foster collaboration.
empower members
Providing our members with accurate data, comprehensive legal insights, and a forward-looking market narrative is a key focus in our commitment to member success. The valuable contributions of our Chief Economist Gay Collaton and Vice President of Communications Chris Ampierre have been central to this mission. Their collaboration in providing regular insightful updates on the economic trends driving Miami’s real estate market (population, migration, influx of wealth, etc., to name a few) informs our market strategy. is extremely important in giving
More importantly, their commitment to using data-driven analytics to create and control the narrative around Miami’s real estate market tells the right story of Miami’s resilience and dynamism amidst a challenging economic environment. We continue to provide this to our members.
Additionally, the expertise of our Chief Legal Counsel, Evian White de Leon, in keeping our members informed of the latest legal developments and fair housing regulations cannot be overstated. With direct access to the latest legal knowledge, our members can confidently navigate the complexities of the real estate industry and stay one step ahead in their professional endeavors.
City Spotlight and Global Partnerships
Our ‘City Spotlights’ initiative allowed our members to engage directly with local officials and gain insight into micromarkets. This initiative has given us a competitive advantage in effectively understanding and serving the local market.
We continue to strengthen our partnerships internationally and promote Miami’s global excellence through events such as the first FIABCI Global Congress hosted by Miami Realtors and the upcoming YPN Global Congress in Dubai and Valencia. I showed it. These events not only increase our global presence but also redefine industry standards.
empowering the commercial sector
Our commercial resources, including Florida’s largest commercial association and commercial MLS, continue to help our members excel in commercial real estate. Miami’s commercial real estate market is strong and we remain committed to providing our members with the tools and resources they need to succeed in this dynamic field.
Advocacy defines our work
Advocacy remains a cornerstone of Miami Realtors’ mission, where we continually defend the rights of professionals and property owners.
