Khalid Ahmed Hassan, Undersecretary of Agriculture and Marine Resources at the Ministry of Rural Affairs and Agriculture, announced that the 6th Bahrain Animal Production Show (Malay 2023) will open on November 23.
The exhibition is considered one of the largest exhibitions dedicated to animal production and rare breeds such as birds, poultry, goats, sheep, and horses found only in the Kingdom. The show was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and reflects Saudi Arabia’s keenness to protect livestock and strengthen food security, and the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad. It will be in line with the plans and programs to be implemented. Crown Prince and Prime Minister Al Khalifa added that the country will intensify investments in this important sector in a sustainable development manner.
The Under-Secretary expressed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Honorary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian Endurance Federation (BREEF), for their support in preparing the Bahrain International Endurance Village. expressed. The exhibition was held for the sixth time in a row, and the previous one attracted more than 240,000 visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom.
This year’s event, held from November 23rd to 25th, will feature a wide variety of livestock, sheep, and rare purebred animals and birds. The farmers market will feature products on display, a cowboy village, a dog circus, a game park (Al Areen), an area for food trucks, and other entertainment and educational activities.
