Bahrain Boxing is organizing the 2nd Royal Rumble Boxing Tournament, a charity boxing dinner, and tickets for this event are available now. In this particular team competition, which will take place in Bahrain on November 30th, the Royal Guard will take on the Parachute Regiment.
The Bahrain Boxing Federation organized its first charity boxing event in 2022, which the Royal Guards won by defeating the Fusiliers 8-1. Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, is one of the sponsors of the 2022 boxing event and is equally supportive of the upcoming second edition.
His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Director-General of the General Authority for Sports and Chairman of the Bahrain Martial Arts Council, also watched the match from the venue. Bahrain Boxing Federation President Omar Salman Al Thurais and Bahrain National Olympic Committee Secretary General Faris Mustafa Al Quheji all attended the 2022 charity boxing event.
Bahrain achieved a historic Olympic berth two and a half years ago when Denis Latipov earned a spot at the Tokyo Games. The super-heavyweight (+92kg) boxer is still active in the national team alongside the promising Azat Makhmetov, and both are preparing hard for the first World Championship.cent Next year’s World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event.
