The Bahrain GP will use the hardest C1, C2 and C3 compounds as hard, medium and soft, respectively, to meet the high wear demands around Sakhir.

Extended tire testing is taking place throughout the 2023 season to get the F1 2024 tires ready by tire manufacturers, and Pirelli has confirmed that its construction is homologated and ready for use next season.
Pre-season testing took place in Bahrain from February 21 to 23, with Pirelli confirming that teams will be able to use all five compounds of their tires to collect data before the 2024 season begins in earnest.
Pirelli confirmed earlier this year that it would extend its current supply contract for F1 tyres, and has seen off bids from Bridgestone for certain markets.
