MACON, Ga. — A departure, a big bear, and a performance at the Georgia National Fair.
These are the topics morning producer Alex Guevara talked about in this week’s Trend Talk.
Dorothy Hofner, a 104-year-old from Chicago, is second to none when it comes to courage. She left her walker on the ground and performed a tandem jump, which established her as the oldest person to skydive.
Hoffner’s first jump was 100 a few years ago.
Like Pamela, Alex hopes to reach 100 and live up to the standards set by people like Hofner.
He also thinks he’s with Sheryl on this song – as cool as the record is, he wants to stay grounded.

When Alex mentions parentheses, you might want to find out which sports teams will be in the playoffs.
But what about fat bears?
Yes, it’s the time of year when bears begin to bulk up for winter, and Alaska’s Katmai National Park is celebrating Fat Bear Week.
Sarah has the right energy here and shows plenty of enthusiasm for the bears.
The bracket is already open and you can enter who you think will win the trophy. Alex is behind Bear 480 -Otis all the way. Digital content producer Mallory Morgan is a big fan of Bear 747.
To vote for who you think will win, please see the voting information and each bear’s profile linked here.
Whether you arrive at the Georgia National Fair at 10 a.m. when the gates open or wander toward Perry a little later in the day, there’s plenty of music, food, and games waiting for you.
Georgia native Clayton Huckle is taking the stage this year and people are excited about his appearance.
Tennille is ready to hear his blend of Josh Turner, Alan Jackson, and Dierks Bentley.
Heather actually met him on the way to a football game and she said he was very good.
You can go to the fair and hear him perform from October 9th to 12th.
That’s it for this week’s trend talk!
