Kasarvadavli police on Monday arrested two people, including a witness, for the murder of a 48-year-old real estate agent who was attacked with a sharp weapon over a financial transaction in Obara, Thane on Saturday night, police said.
According to police sources, the two arrested suspects have been identified as Bhushan Patil, who witnessed the brutal murder, and Nitin Patil, also a real estate businessman, while the absconding suspect manages the Mulund offices of both police forces. Satish Eknath Patil, a real estate agent from Vartak Nagar, was riding in a car with fellow real estate businessman Bhushan Patil at Bihan Valley Circle in West Obara, Thane, when the murder took place on Saturday.
