RIYADH: The 2023-2024 Diriyah season begins on December 12 with a carefully selected three-month calendar of events combining arts and culture, as well as live performances and experiences showcasing nearly 600 years of history and heritage. will be held.
The season is off to a great start musically with an extraordinary lineup of cultural concerts. Tickets for the first cultural concept to be performed by Saudi music legends Rabeh Sakr and Aid at the Mayadeen Theater will go on sale on December 10th.
This year’s theme honors the story of Diriyah and celebrates Al Awja in a call for all Saudis to come together and celebrate our common culture and identity.
The season is set in five different locations in Diriyah. Wadi Safar is the base camp for the Diriyah culture. The iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site at to Life. Bujairi Terrace; Mayadeen Theater; and Diriyah district.

The Diriyah E-Pri Championship, immersive art installations and exhibitions, live and theatrical performances, as well as culinary experiences celebrating both traditional and contemporary cuisines are also planned for this season.
The Ministry of Culture’s Culinary Arts Commission will present Shetana, an outdoor winter evening Saudi culinary experience, every day for four weeks at the Mayadeen Theater. The theater also hosts horse shows and cultural concerts.
The fine-dining Bujairi Terrace features one of Diriyah’s historic farms transformed into an outdoor illuminated wonderland, showcasing the best in local and international contemporary art, design, food, dance and live music. Includes expanded re-opening of Diriyah. music, poetry, drama.
For the first time, Budjairi Terrace will also feature a themed escape room called ‘Journey to the Future’ that will test players’ escape skills and explore the kingdom’s historical story.

The At-Turaif retrospective explores and embraces the value of At-Turaif’s continuing influence on the Kingdom, bringing together Diriyah’s stories and memories into a multimedia installation. The Doors of Diriyah exhibition explores the meaning and history of the colorful, intricately carved and carved doors of Diriyah and Najd.

The season, which ends in March, is expected to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector by attracting domestic and international tourists and creating 178,000 jobs for young Saudis.
“We are a 2030 project, but we opened our assets, including UNESCO sites, in 2022… We have already had one million visits,” Inzerillo said.
“And now that number is increasing, and by the end of Ramadan, when Diriyah season ends, there will be one million visitors,” he said.
