Baltimore — The Baltimore Ravens are touchdown favorites against the Los Angeles Rams and have a history of beating NFC opponents.
When the Detroit and Seattle football teams visited Baltimore earlier this year, they did the same thing.
Will the same fate await the Rams?
WJZ’s panel of experts has compiled some predictions for the outcome of Sunday’s game at M&T Bank Stadium.
WJZ reporter Alex Glaze said for the Ravens to win Sunday’s head-to-head matchup, the team needs to do three things: play defense, run the football and take care of the football. Ta.
Glaze predicts the Ravens will win 23-13.
WJZ analyst Torrey Smith said the Ravens will be fresh and ready to hit the ground running.
“At the end of the day, it’s going to come down to who’s more physical and can dominate in the trenches,” he said.
Smith believes the Ravens will “win big” if they protect the football and dominate the run game.
Former wide receiver Kadri Ismail said he expects the Ravens to beat the Rams 33-13.
WJZ anchor Rick Ritter said Ravens fans shouldn’t sleep on the Rams. The Ravens have a good chance of winning, but the point difference won’t be that wide.
“But I’m going to the Ravens, 24 years old, Rams 17 years old,” he said. “I think it’s affected by the rain, so it’s a little low.”
WJZ Sports Director Mark Viviano is leaning toward a 33-17 Ravens win.
