Xiaomi SU7 uses HyperOS operating system xiaomi
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced China’s first electric car series. This is called his SU7 series and comes with his three trim levels: SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max.
The size of the EV is 4997mm x 1963mm x 1455mm, and the wheelbase is 3000mm. The regular trim has a curb weight of 1980kg, while the Pro and Max trims weigh 2205kg.
Xiaomi SU7 EV is available with both RWD and AWD drivetrains. The RWD model has a single electric motor on the rear axle producing 295bhp. The AWD version, on the other hand, has a front axle motor producing 295bhp and a rear axle motor producing 368bhp for a total of 663bhp. The regular trim has a top speed of 210km/h, while the Pro and Max trims have a top speed of 265km/h.
The car batteries will be supplied by Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) and another company owned by BYD. In addition, two other companies will manufacture electric motors.
Little is known about the technology that will be available, but reports suggest that the EV series will use Xiaomi’s new operating system, HyperOS. Xiaomi recently announced his HyperOS as a replacement for the existing MIUI operating system. However, there are differences in the UI. Therefore, the OS used in cars is different from the OS used by Xiaomi in smartphones.
Xiaomi says mass production of the SU7 will begin in December 2023, and deliveries in China will begin in February 2024.
