Singer-songwriter Amy Shark has moved to Sydney from the Gold Coast.
However, she does not appear to have invested any money after moving, choosing instead to buy near the New South Wales/Queensland border.
The eight-time ARIA award winner, along with her husband and business manager Shane Billings, spent $2.1 million on the cool entertainer at Casuarina on the Tweed Coast.
LJ Hooker Kingscliff secured the sale after originally seeking between $2.195 billion and $2.35 million.

The one-story contemporary home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Just 200 meters from Casuarina Beach, between Kingscliff and Cabarita Beach.
Built in 2017, the home was marketed as a “stylish and sophisticated bespoke beachside pad” and was designed to bring the outdoors in.
The open-plan kitchen, living and dining spaces open onto the lawn through bespoke sliding doors and also include a covered BBQ area, pool and in-ground fire pit.

Her latest social media shows that the tool is already being used among young families who roast marshmallows.
Shark announced his move to Sydney to his 225,000 followers last week, posting a video of Potts Point’s pergola and green rooftop outdoor area with views of the Opera House.
“Update! I’ve moved to Sydney. I love you and I’ll miss you. Soon,” Shark posted.
The move saw Shirk and Billings rent out their former Gold Coast home.
She is looking for a tenant for $2,300 a week for the four-bedroom Broadbeach Waters riverside property the couple bought in 2018 for $2.25 million.

It features an outdoor entertainment area with a swimming pool and 8m pontoon.
Pet care is also negotiable, and lawn and garden maintenance and pool services are included in the rent.
Earlier this week, Shark was at Kirribilli House for Nova FM’s annual backyard cricket match between Kate Ritchie and Fitty’s team.
Shark and Billings met in 2007 while both worked for the Gold Coast Titans.
Shirk was the video editor and Billings was the financial manager.
According to PropTrack, the median home price in Casuarina is $2.09 million. It has fallen 0.5% over the past 12 months.
