CAA Golf Weekly Awards – October 4th
RICHMOND, VA (October 4, 2023) – towson graduate student Madison Barber and a sophomore at Monmouth. Ethan Lee is the winner of the CAA Golf Weekly Award for tournaments through Oct. 3.
This week’s female golfer
Madison Barber, Towson
Graduate Student | Kingston, Ontario / Frontenac Secondary School
Barber posted the first runner-up performance of his career at the Navy Fall Invitational, helping Towson to a second-place team finish. The graduate student from Canada was the only golfer to shoot an even-par 72 in the first round in Annapolis, and went on to shoot a 75 with seven birdies in 36 holes. Towson finished ahead of his three other CAA programs in this event.

Ethan Lee, Monmouth
2nd Grade | Jackson, New Jersey / Christian Brothers Academy
Lee finished second in the 36-hole event at Matthews Auto College with a score of 7 under. Lee finished in the top five for the second time in his career with a record of 68-69, and Monmouth finished fifth out of 14 teams (12 NCAA teams and two from Canada’s U Sports) at the tournament held in New York’s Southern Tier.
