PEORIA (25News Now) – Fall arrived like a lamb on Saturday with some of the coolest weather of the season. Although the temperature tended to be about 10 degrees lower than the maximum temperature during the day, it was a wonderful day with mostly sunny to cloudy skies. If you love fall weather, the next few days are going to be fun.
Sunday: This morning’s low pressure system north of Lake Erie will continue to impact the western Great Lakes through Sunday’s forecast. Clouds have been steadily increasing from Saturday evening into this morning due to a low pressure system in the area. It will be a cloudy Sunday, but there will be some patches of sunshine throughout the day. Despite the clouds, temperatures will actually be warmer than Saturday, with highs in the low 60s, about 5 degrees below the seasonal average.
