A heart-stopping video of several storm chasers trapped inside a tornado has left netizens with shivers down their spines. American content creator Turner Charles shared this footage of him and his friends chasing a tornado and then getting trapped in it, documenting the aftermath of this harrowing experience.
Charles shared this video on YouTube. In the caption of the post, he wrote, “On April 4, 2023, my friends and I were just short of an EF3 in Lewistown, Illinois, when harmful incoming winds knocked out power lines and put us in the path of a tornado. We were trapped. Then we took a direct hit.” (Also read: Man walks on dangerous bridge in Pakistan, video sends shivers down your spine)
The video shows the group tracking the tornado and observing its strength. Then they decided to go near it. When a tornado approaches, you will experience strong winds and rain. One time, when they were near a power line, a sudden gust of wind carried them into the storm. What follows is horrifying footage of a car window being smashed.
After the tornado passes, they are shown miraculously surviving and trying to get out of the car.
